What does GND stand for?

GND = Goals Not Dreams. Very fitting for me, I was always the “do-er”. Don’t get me wrong dreams are great, but a goal is just a dream with a deadline. From Goals Not Dreams Training to GND Strength Society, the bigger picture is we get things done.

For visual learners, this explains GND in a nut shell. Follow along for my explanation.

This chaotic design is what we stand for at GND.

The Anvil

This is where strength gets made. Not in comfort. Not in ease. On the anvil, under pressure, in the heat, when things get heavy. That’s where we grow.

The Barbell & Scales

We move weight. But we do it with purpose. The barbell represents the grind. The scales represent the balance: ethics, equality, integrity. We’re building strong people, BUT we’re also building good people.

The Buddhist Knot

This one goes deep. It represents how everything is connected. Our actions, our growth, our community.
At GND, you’re not on your own. Your progress matters because it lifts the whole room. We train together. We grow together. Nobody’s left behind.

“NEVER SETTLE”

Etched into the anvil for a reason. This isn’t a gym where you come to stay the same. It’s not about being the strongest in the room, it’s about being stronger than YOU were yesterday. Whatever you’re chasing, we’re here for it. Just don’t settle. EVER!

Why This Symbol Matters

It’s a reminder. You show up, you carry your weight, whether it’s physical, emotional, whatever. And you leave better, stronger and more grounded in who you are.

We’re not just here to lift, we’re here to build. Welcome to GND. This is what strength looks like.
